The construction of the tallest tower ever in Tirana that will destroy the flower garden behind the Opera and Ballet Theater showed once again that Albania has no opposition, but a "gang of fines".
This is best confirmed by the self-described "torch of anti-corruption", the former Director of Taxes, Brisida Shehaj.
She writes on Facebook that anyone has the right to "protest for Kulla e Gimi, but the opposition does not". According to her, the opposition should not protest about the towers as it loses focus. She says that the opposition should only protest about the issue of incinerators, but not about the destruction of parks in Tirana and the return of the capital to concrete. Total nonsense for a citizen.
But this reaction of the Tax Office shows once again the dismantling of the self-proclaimed "torches of anti-corruption": Each of their attacks on business is predetermined and with a single goal: profit. This has been done by all the leaders of the opposition, from Lulzim Basha and Sali Berisha to Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi. Recently, some "powerful" anti-corruption voice such as Brisi i Timime, who left this position ironically accused of corruption.
But what is the strategy?
Their strategy has already become obvious: to make as much noise as possible on the issue of incinerators and two or three other causes, while closing their eyes and being silent about the towers that are taking away the breath of Tirana, or the many concessions such as Thumanë-Kashar , Lekaj-Fier, the robbery of the south by the oligarchs, the branding of fuels, etc.
Their strategy is perfect to rob a state with the scheme: Hit medially, politically, as well as financially a concession targeted by them, and on the other hand fill their pockets with other concessions.
