Two properties worth 200 thousand euros, owned by citizens  Pajtim Braçaj  and Gjino (Shklqim) LLeshaj, have been seized as part of the operation codenamed " Burimi" .

For this operation, the decision of the Tirana Court was executed, for the seizure of an apartment in Selita and 1 garage in Selita e Vogël.

44-year-old LLeshaj is convicted in Italy for drug trafficking.

Meanwhile, Pajtim Braçaj has been convicted in Albania for drug trafficking. VoxNews has learned that Pajtim Braçaj was the owner of the oil company "Trade Petrol & Drilling" with headquarters in Fier and Tirana.

As the following documents prove, "Trade Petrol & Drilling" was a company that was involved in the processing of crude oil produced by Armo.

TPD-Trading Petrol & Drilling was established in May 2012, according to data from the NRC.

How businessman Pajtim Braçaj was caught "by the police":

Pajtim Braçaj is known as an individual connected to the shareholders of the “ Taiwan ” complex in Tirana. His brother Avni Braçaj owns 10% of the shares of the 'Taiwan' complex.

In October 2015, Braçaj was arrested along with Ajet Sulaj, Besnik Sulaj's other brother, as part of a criminal group accused of trafficking 700 kilograms of cannabis.

Braçaj and Sulaj have denied the charges in court. Since 2012, the administrators of TP&D Oil have changed several times.  

Braçaj was one of 7 people arrested after the discovery of a drug laboratory on October 17, 2015 in the former Kënetë area of ??Durrës and the seizure of 700 kg of cannabis.

Braçaj was suspected of transporting drugs from Kruja to the laboratory in Durrës.

Durrës Police discovered the laboratory in a joint operation with Tirana Police, Shkodra Police and the former Serious Crimes Prosecutor's Office as part of the police operation codenamed "Coordinates". The value of the cannabis could reach 1 million euros. 

Police announcement:

Assets worth 200,000 euros, owned by 2 citizens convicted of drug trafficking, are seized.

Following intensive investigations, conducted by the Money Laundering and Criminal Assets Investigation Section at the Tirana Local Police Directorate and the Tirana Prosecution Office, with the objective of tracing and seizing assets/properties, products of criminal activities inside and outside the country, the operation codenamed "Source" was finalized.

Within the framework of this operation, the decision of the Court of Tirana was executed, for the imposition of preventive seizure on 1 apartment in Selitë and 1 garage in Selitë e Vogël, with a total value of around 200,000 euros, owned respectively by citizen PB, 63 years old, convicted in Albania for drug trafficking, and citizen Gj. Ll. alias Sh. Ll., 44 years old, convicted in Italy for drug trafficking.

The investigation into the tracing and seizure of other assets, with criminal sources, owned by these citizens and citizens associated with them, continues.
