Bledar Dervishaj, the man who led Ilir Meta's numerous legal battles in the Presidency, denies rumors that he has a conflict with the former President.

"Relations are very good, have been very good and will be very good. It was a relationship of professional trust in me", he declared in an interview for Euroneës Albania.

He answers even though he did not join Ilir Meta in the Freedom Party, as did another part of Meta's collaborators.

"I have made it known that in May and June, I have chosen to continue my professional commitment in the field of law as a lawyer and for this reason I have made the decision to run as a People's Advocate", stated Dervishaj.

Among other things, Dervishaj also denied the news circulating that there were strong clashes with Meta in the corridors of the Presidency.

"There was none of this 'where the councilor of Meta disappeared'. With none of his advisors, President Meta has had no conflict, not only with me," he said.
