The Elbasan Court has rejected producer Petri Bozo's request to reduce the security measure from "house arrest" to "compulsion to appear".

According to media reports, Bozo requested a change in the measure with the argument that from October 24 to November 6 he should have been present at the "Miss Globe" event in Thailand, presenting the relevant invitations to the court.

Judge Suela Lika assessed that the conditions and circumstances for changing the measure do not exist, leaving the "house arrest" against the producer in effect.

Bozo was arrested after he fatally hit a 7-year-old child on the Elbasan-Librazhd national highway. The tragic accident occurred on the morning of May 25. The 7-year-old was crossing the road with his mother after they had accompanied his sister to school.

 After the incident, Petri Bozo testified to the police that he had not noticed the child even though he was moving at low speed. According to information, the victim's family members have stated that they have no conflict with the director, emphasizing that 'the accident was not the result of a deliberate act'.
