Expropriations for residents affected by the Kashar railway project and the Llogara tunnel

The Council of Ministers, meeting this Friday, has made decisions regarding projects: the railway from the Kamza turn to the station in Kashar, Lot I; the construction of the Llogara tunnel, as well as the construction of sports fields and the surrounding wall for the "Mustafa Greblleshi" and "Sandër Prosi" schools in Tirana.

Project "Roads parallel to the railway from the Kamza turn to the railway station in Kashar - lot I".

The affected owners will be fully compensated for their “arable” and “plot” lands, with a total fund of 1,634,311 lek, which will be covered by the Tirana Municipality budget. The municipality will also cover procedural costs.

The owners will receive the compensation after submitting the necessary documentation, while the Municipality of Tirana will carry out all payment procedures.

The State Cadastral Agency will register the transfer of ownership and temporarily block any transactions on these properties until the process is completed.

Project "Construction of the Llogara Tunnel"

The owners will be fully compensated for the “arable” and “pasture” lands, with a total fund of around 1.79 million lek, which will be covered by the state budget through the expropriation fund. Procedural costs are covered by the Albanian Road Authority.

Compensation will be provided after the owners submit the relevant documentation to the State Agency for Expropriation, which will carry out the payment procedures.

Meanwhile, the Cadastral Agency will register the transfer of ownership in favor of the state and will temporarily block any transactions on these properties until the process is completed.

Project "Construction of sports fields and perimeter wall for the "Mustafa Greblleshi" and "Sandër Prosi" schools", Municipality of Tirana.

The owners will be fully compensated for the affected land, with a total fund of around 62 million lek, which will be borne by the Municipality of Tirana. The municipality will also cover procedural costs.

Payments will be made after the owners submit the necessary documentation, while updated verification from the Cadastre will be required for each property, especially in cases where there are restrictions or legal proceedings.

The Cadastre Agency will register the transfer of ownership in favor of the Municipality of Tirana and will temporarily block transactions on these properties until the process is completed.
