BREAKING NEWS/ The Transparency Board increases prices, here's how much oil and gasoline will be sold for!

The Transparency Board has again changed the trading prices of oil and gasoline in the country.

In the decision taken today, which comes into effect at 4:00 PM, diesel will be sold at 210 lek per liter, up from 207 lek per liter yesterday, while gasoline will be sold at 176 lek per liter, up from 174 lek per liter yesterday.

Transparency Board Announcement :

The Transparency Board on April 17, 2026, at its next meeting, decided:

The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard shall be no more than 210 lek/liter, while the wholesale price shall be no more than 198 lek/liter.

The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 176 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 164 lek/liter.

The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, the 17th, at 4:00 PM and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.

We draw the attention of every operator of wholesale and retail sales of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision.

In case of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided.

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, are committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and preserving the principles of fair competition in the market.
