Sali Berisha: The stratospheric price of oil lies in Rama's government tax

Sali Berisha, in a video post on social media, described Rama's statements this Sunday in the next episode of the "Flasim" podcast as fraud.

Berisha emphasizes that the price of oil in Albania is at stratospheric levels due to Rama's government tax on oil of 1.1 euros.

According to him, Rama lied when he said that the Transparency Board, recently re-established, has nothing to do with price levels, when this Board determined the price of oil at 215 lek.

Further, the DP leader calls for an immediate reduction in the price of oil, accusing the Transparency Board of being set up to protect companies and not citizens.

"Edi Rama deceived Albanians about oil and is hiding the failure with investments"

The deceptions in Edi Rama's Sunday monologue have become like the tales of Nastya. Today, he had chosen to talk about oil and to deceive the citizens that the board has nothing to do with prices, while his board yesterday announced the price increase, from the 203 lek it had previously announced to 215 lek, after a public letter that the supporters of the oil companies wrote, proving that that board is in defense of the companies and not the citizens.

Again, I emphasize that the foundation of the static oil price in Albania is Edi Rama's government tax on oil of 1.1 euros.

Therefore, its reduction should be a demand of all Albanian citizens.

Edi Rama, in his monologue, spoke about foreign investments, about a conference with thousands of participants, in which the big absentees in Albania are actually present.

"I want to inform Albanians that, during these 12 years, the only major investments in Albania have been contracted investments, all of which were from the DP," Berisha said.
