The Socialist Party MP reacted after the Transparency Board set ceiling prices for fuel today, deciding that diesel will not be sold for more than 203 lek/liter and gasoline for no more than 175 lek/liter.
Through a post on social media, Braçe wrote that with this decision of the Board, the price of diesel was immediately reduced by 11-14 lek per liter, while the price of gasoline was reduced by 24-27 lek per liter.
While making allegations of Albanians being robbed of the 'net' price of oil without taxes, Brace demanded transparency.
Brace also raised the question of whether political and media rhetoric focused on taxes has hidden the truth about the abuses, according to him, of the 'net' tax-free price of oil.
Braca's reaction:
New prices:
oil up to 203 lek per liter;
gasoline up to 175 lek per liter;
the board decided now!
so,
The price of oil decreases by 11-14 lek per liter immediately;
The price of gasoline drops by 24-27 lek per liter immediately.
I have this question;
What happened?
The taxes haven't changed, none; then?
Remember what I said a few days ago about the net price of oil - the price of oil without taxes;
We had the highest, most expensive, net-tax-free oil price in the region!
Immediately after this, Luigi launched an attack on all his cronies, even the parties around him; what they didn't say, they even returned to the PS promise, shouted by me and implemented for seven years in a row, for oil to farmers without excise duty - in fact, it is being given for free, that is, without money, not without excise duty.
Well, the question that deserves transparency is:
In this miserable market model we have, have we been robbed at the net-tax-free price of oil and gasoline??
Hasn't the entire political and media narrative, based solely on taxes, hidden the truth about the net price of oil and gasoline and aimed to suppress this truth?! Just as it has suppressed competition?!
