At one of the points of the "Kastrati" company near the Medresa market, the price of oil is 182 lek per liter, up from 175 lek per liter previously. The increase is 7 lek per liter.
Meanwhile, the price of oil from the operator "Elda" has increased again. From 179 lek per liter sold at retail outlets on Wednesday, the price of oil today has reached 182 lek per liter. The increase is another 3 lek.
There was also a price increase of 7 lek at the retail outlets of the company "Bolv". The price has reached 182 lek per liter.
Before the attacks in the Middle East began, the price of oil was 175 lek per liter. The market shows that the price of 175 lek per liter has been stable since October 2024, that is, for more than 1 year.
Meanwhile, since Wednesday, about 4 days after the attacks in the Middle East began, the price in the retail market increased by 4 lekë, reaching the level of 179 lekë per liter. The price change was reflected in several points in Tirana of the operator "Elda", while it remained unchanged at the retail supply points on the highway.
The increase in oil prices has also been noted on foreign stock exchanges. The price of Brent crude oil is 88.9 USD per barrel. Before the attacks, the price of Brent crude oil on the stock exchange was 65 USD per barrel.
While the price of refined oil, according to operators on Friday, before the attack, was bought at 700 USD per ton. After the attack, the price increased to 900 USD per ton.
