" I challenge you to find me even one proof of abuse ", said the day before the Minister of Finance, at the same time head of the Transparency Board, about the price of oil.

Numerous indicators show that the board is favoring the oil companies and not the citizens. One of them is the delay in lowering the price, when oil depreciates in the stock market, or when the dollar also depreciates. This has happened several times since the board decided on November 12 the price of 223 per liter.

In neighboring Macedonia, the supervisory body of the oil market lowered the price twice on November 14 and two days later to a total of 10 Lek, while gasoline has been reduced by 5 Lek.

Currently, the price of oil across the border is 175 ALL. In the neighboring country, it is argued that these new prices for oil come as a result of lower prices in the world markets and another reason is the weakening of the dollar in the exchange rate.

This is the announcement of the board in North Macedonia, which announces today that the price of oil on the stock exchange has decreased by 2 percent compared to November 14, and this is the reason that the price for citizens will decrease again.

But the Albanian board is keeping the oil price unchanged since November 12, even though the price has fallen on the stock market. With this delay of several days, the board has favored the oil companies which are buying cheaper on the stock exchange and selling more expensively.

The minister said that the board has reduced the profit margins for the companies, but since the 14th these margins have been enlarged and the board at the Ministry of Finance is not looking at them. This is the second proof of oil price abuse.
