The National Chamber of Bailiffs asks the institutions to take immediate measures and immediately stop the phenomenon of "fictitious auction". In a press release distributed to the media, the Chamber declares that the data is public to identify this phenomenon and that 61 municipalities and 13 courts of first instance of general jurisdiction possess the complete material of this phenomenon.
"Through this communique, we seek to draw the attention of the public, the media, the Albanian government and all law enforcement bodies in the country, to a very serious phenomenon that has spread and is growing at a challenging speed in recent months: "Fictitious auction". In the name of the "Law" and the Private Enforcement Service, it is being severely abused.
Courts and municipalities throughout Albania have witnessed the fictitious announcement of dozens, hundreds, thousands of fictitious auctions for the sale of real estate belonging to Albanians. Many citizens have been shocked by the "auctions" that have been made of their properties, without any notification, without any regular enforcement process and at prices beyond the ridiculous.
Dozens of them have found that their properties have been alienated in the Cadastre, being taken over by microfinance companies. We want to reassure the citizens and the public opinion that the procedure of such "auctions", like the dozens of examples they are bringing with this communique, is fictitious, it is a Fraud!" is written in the declaration of the Chamber of Executors.
The Chamber of Bailiffs evidences that thousands of citizens have been defrauded in recent years.
"Entire Albanian individuals and families have gone through psychological trauma when every means of living, monthly salary and every possible asset has been blocked by some publicly identified fraudsters. Many individuals have surrendered to fraudsters because the state did not move! Whole families have been forced to take out new loans to escape the tight loop of washing off old loans/debts. The fraud scheme worked perfectly, until Today, their properties are being stolen!", says the statement.
