The new court map, a very resounding phrase, which in Albanian means 18 courts less, has aroused revolt among lawyers, anger among notaries and confusion among citizens.

Critics, who in this country are more than the number of inhabitants, say that we should take the example of our eastern neighbor Macedonia, which has 27 courts of first instance, 5 courts of appeal and Skopje, which has only 500 thousand inhabitants, has not one, but two courts of first instance!

But we do not have to copy others, especially Macedonia, from which we now seek to distance ourselves because Bulgaria has taken it hostage on the road to the EU. We have to be creative.

Why not make an unheard of solution and amaze the world ?! Dealing with reforms after reforms we are not running out of time to do any work. Why not do a BiG Reform? A reform that does not solve only one problem, but several problems at once ?!

Why not declare Albania with a municipality, with a mayor ?!

Currently in Tirana live 1 million inhabitants. Calculating the construction that is going on, there is room for another 3 million inhabitants. So we can shelter not only all the Albanians who have remained in towns and villages, but also 1 million Ukrainians in Tirana.

With the proclamation of Albania as a municipality, we have solved the problem of territorial reform where today one party seeks to reduce the number of municipalities and another party seeks to increase them.

Albania, a municipality, also resolves the 30-year-old quarrel that follows each pair of elections. Even in the conditions of the war in Ukraine and the global crisis to which we are only contributing to provide solutions, we will save like no one else. 

Having only one municipality and one mayor, we eliminate a pair of completely unnecessary elections, avoid unnecessary hassle and strengthen direct democracy, where the prime minister / mayor is directly elected by the people. We also save the work of internationals and especially the OSCE / ODHIR with observers and reports!

Albania, a municipality, also solves the big problem of corruption that we thought we gave overwhelming solutions with the National Anti-Corruption Conference. Who would be crazy for a mayor to spend 3 million bags of flour, especially since now the price of flour has increased. Even the flour used by bakers and housewives for cooking!

Albania as a municipality is an ideal solution, not only for the territorial reform, elections, anti-corruption, but also for the new judicial map itself.

There is no need for further discussion, do we need one or 3 courts of appeal, do we need 13, or 26 district courts, do we need more or less administrative courts ?!

One court is enough for us, and a supreme judge comes out and exceeds us!

There are solutions to every problem, but we just have not killed our minds enough.

Albania a municipality - the solution of all problems and the mother of all reforms! Just patience. Life is hard only the first 100 years!
