NOTE: June 12 this year marks the 31st anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Party. 31 years ago, a new generation of socialists took the re-establishment seriously, in a two-day Assembly, where Dritëro Agolli, dared to denounce Enver Hoxha, amid cries of curses and insults as "Faithful".

After a two-day battle, the former Albanian communists and the Politburo withdrew completely from Albanian political life, and a new generation of socialists led by Fatos Nano formed a new team, most of whom were professors, professors or personalities of Albania. , partially studied abroad.

No political party in Albania has ever taken care to entrust its fate to a generation of young intellectuals, such as the Socialist Party in 1991. It managed to maintain cohesion with the old generation of Albanian communists, including angry Enverists. , in the name of change and new competition.

The whole old political elite of communism went home, and Ramiz Alia, after a year, no longer had any role in the history of Albania, much less the socialists.

The first 2 decades the socialists had two pictures, the first was in the '90s where they suffered Berisha's violence and the second with taking power and governing the country. In the last 10 years, the Socialist Party seems to have undergone a radical transformation for the worse. Around this time, the party led by Edi Rama, no longer approached any professor, or prominent intellectual, but was replaced by businessmen and or persons with strong criminal records.

At first it seemed like a coincidence that mayors or MPs lost their mandates because they had convictions ranging from drugs, murder or prostitution. Not far from yesterday, a former mayor such as Agim Kajmaku from Vora was caught in Italy with cocaine.

At first glance it seems like an unrelated event to the PS, but when many Renaissance figures are coming out incriminated it can no longer pass as a casual event. If in the beginning of the '90s the cream of the Socialist Party were the professors and intellectuals, now the "kajmaku" of the party are the Kajmaku of Vora, Roshi of Kavaja, Ndoka or Prenga of Lezha, etc.

This is not the only evil of the SP, which they already call the Renaissance. It has been a long time since the Socialists have been disappointed by their party. The people who benefit from it are some individuals who are associated with the mayor, while corruption has grown to frightening figures.

Now the Socialist Party, although boasting that it is the largest in the country, is in a situation that only brings harm to the country.

Edi Rama's authoritarian leadership has really served him to take all the power, but it has only brought damage to the country. Democracy has taken steps back, and people are poorer and happier. To anyone who speaks, the first sentence to say is: "This place has become uninhabitable, we must flee abroad."
