The largest EU countries are putting pressure on Serbia to impose sanctions on Russia.

US Ambassador to Belgrade Chris Hill clearly urging Serbia to end pro-Russian policies and clearly define sanctions against Russia.

German Chancellor asking Serbia to recognize Kosovo.

European Parliament demanding that Serbia recognize Kosovo.

A German lawmaker has called for an end to EU membership talks over Serbia's fraud.

Lithuanian MEP Andrius Kubilius with a clear message that Serbia "either to continue its relations with the Putin regime, which many call fascist, or Serbia to move in the direction of European Union policy, to support Ukraine, to oppose the regime of "Putin and to see the possibility of another Russia after him."

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Albania…

- Do not put pressure on Serbia

- Serbia has special ties and common history with Russia (exactly the same language used by the Serbian President at the press conference with the German Chancellor)

- Support for the French president's idea of a European Political Community, which is in fact a project to bury any EU enlargement. Macron's idea has been opposed by most Eastern European countries, but even German lawmakers have said the idea could not be a substitute for the EU.

And the Prime Minister of Albania calls Macron's idea visionary. But the truth is this: France is against EU enlargement because it does not want Eastern and Southeastern Europe to have even more weight in the EU.

- Why is there support for the Macron project? Because this still hazy project like the Open Balkans does not require fulfillment of conditions such as EU accession. EU accession means deep reforms, which could potentially jeopardize the power of any politician.

Needless to say, it has become a bad rule now: in his interview with Politico, the Prime Minister of Albania did not ask Serbia to accept Kosovo.

- If until now Serbia was sabotaging the West in the Balkans, in this dance - consciously or unconsciously - now a part of the governing leadership of Tirana is involved.

- There is silence in Kosovo from both the government and the opposition, which, however, does not miss the opportunity to cast some curses on the government due to the relocation of a festival in Tirana.
