In the lawsuit, Mr. Teqja says that he is a well-known and successful entrepreneur with activities both inside and outside the country, whose reputation has been severely damaged.

Now, everyone has the right to seek compensation when they are injured, there is no question about that. That Mr. Tekja is a well-known and successful entrepreneur is also beyond doubt. But even recognition and success come from somewhere.

Mr. Teqja's success initially came when he connected with the family of a former mayor and in exchange received the monopoly of Tirana's garbage in Sharra. And the corrupt connection, or at least the conflict of interest there, was so flagrant that family members were on the boards of Mr. Teqja's companies.

He became well-known for employing minors in his company, who performed heavy physical labor. The well-known entrepreneur's mega-machine seriously injured two minors at work and took the life of a 32-year-old employee.

But Mr. Tekja didn't get a single thorn in his side for these deeds that made him famous and successful. Now he, together with a judge who graduated from correspondence school, want to fine journalists half a million euros, for a news story that is true, but which may have had some exaggerated interpretation in the headline. 

Because both Mr. Tekja and the judge with night school count the 500 thousand euros in their pocketbook and know that they have it all.
