There is a storm of fake news about the new cabinet expected in the second week of September. I can't give you any prescriptions on what you should do to be a candidate, but I can tell you what you shouldn't do.
I have seen that the cafes around the Prime Minister's Office are full of candidates who think that if someone calls them on the phone, they must be near the Prime Minister's Office. Don't waste your time, because even if you are on the list, no one will call you. You will hear the news on television, so don't waste your time and money in cafes.
I have seen some who appear on TV shows and order the moderator to say: “We heard you are on the list.” This is another surefire way to get off the list even if you are. I like those who declare themselves as safe in the government, but raise doubts about Rama’s unpredictability. These are more innovative in their application.
I have seen some who have returned from the diaspora and bought expensive suits, also opening up about having received guarantees that they will be in the government. From the diaspora we have a shadow government with Prime Minister Professor Pilinci, even though I have a conflict of interest with him, because he previously dismissed me from my position as an advisor.
We have another category that annoys the portals by introducing news about what the new government will be like, and they draw their identity as a model of the minister. The point is: to be a high technician, to have experience with the new EU laws, or to be well educated. If you have all these qualities, don't ruin them to become a minister.
Then comes the turn of the "inside-informed" journalists to "destroy your nerves" with bombastic headlines:
"This is what the new government will be like!" You read it and see that the "discovery" they have made is that in the new government there will be some old ministers and some new ministers. These are reliable predictors.
Another type of journalist only talks about those who will be ministers again and calls them "heavyweights" without whom the government cannot be formed. As long as they do not mention names, they too are confident in their success, since those who remain will be called "heavyweights."
Then there are those who draw the "clans" within the PS and analyze Edi Rama's movements, how he will eliminate one clan and raise another, or how he will balance the clans. These are valuable for regulating Edi Rama's mood in these tiring days. (The only one who is sure is Ulsiu, because I attacked him. Even being introduced as a character in "Antena", will pave the way for his career in the party, like Mulit.)
Other journalists are drawing new ministers, who will also be from the DP. This has caused a political turmoil, because for the first time, the DP is waiting for the SP Assembly with more anxiety than the SP itself, which has decided that only Edi Rama is safe in the government. But the DP, with all those troubles, does not have this debt and this turmoil. Leave them in the trouble they have found.
There are other examples of "applications", but I won't go into them. What all of these I mentioned have in common is:
You don't become a minister if you self-proclaim yourself or ask to be proclaimed.
It's better for them to postpone their vacation until September 12th, and then what luck will they have. It's not a great luck and they are becoming ministers. Ask around where those who were ministers before are, to understand that maybe it's better for them not to hear their name on September 12th.
