The Presidency hits the Constitutional Court with a letter!

Save whoever can!

I read in the media that the Presidency institution headed by Mr. Bajram Begaj has written a letter to the Constitutional Court asking them to declare the Veliaj case incompetent and to set an election date for Tirana.

I scratched my head to see if I was dreaming!

Do they know in the Presidency that the Constitutional Court is a separate power that does not depend on the president since the time of the late Haxhi Lleshi!

How I remembered Haxhi Qamili!

How can the presidency address the constitutional court with a letter of instruction?

I know that the constitutional court also judges the president, not the president giving recommendations to the constitutional court!

Or not, honorable citizens!

I believe it is not foreseen that the president would sue the constitutional court for the decision of the constitutional court and then the constitutional court would judge the constitutional court!

Excuse me, but isn't this letter a pressure on justice from the presidency? Isn't it an intimidation of judges that is punishable by law?

I say yes!

And then they say that the judges will be protected! They are attacked in broad daylight with letters!

Does Mr. President understand that his secretary general, acting perhaps without his knowledge, has perhaps - I say - blown up the constitution? Do you understand that behind his back, perhaps I say, every court decision will now be viewed with distrust? If the court decides to declare itself incompetent, it will be said that it carried out the order of the presidency!

He understands that he has blown up the trust in the court! And the court's own freedom to judge the case! 

I hope the media that published this news is not well-informed or misinformed!

But, as a citizen, I am truly amazed!

How wicked these media people are, they lie day and night, that there's no way the presidency could have made such a fool of him! I never believe it.

There are good lawyers there!
