Fire in the Soda forest in Zvërnec, suspected to be intentional

A fire broke out this afternoon in the Soda forest area, near Zvernec beach, where several tourist businesses also operate.

The flames have engulfed an area of ??dense bushes and vegetation, and there is a risk that the fire will spread further towards the dense forest and surrounding buildings.

Two fire engines are at the scene working to bring the flames under control, as vacationers are leaving the beach.

It is initially suspected that the fire may have been started intentionally, while authorities have launched investigations to determine the cause.
