Within July 20, which is the last session of the parliament for this session, the People's Advocate will be elected. In the Assembly, 3 names for the People's Advocate were supported with the signatures of the opposition deputies.
According to the media, the names supported by the opposition are Erald Aga, Besim Ndregjoni and Edison Frangu.
It takes 28 firms of deputies to support a candidacy for ombudsman. In order to elect the People's Advocate, a consensus must be reached between the majority and the opposition, as it requires a qualified majority of 84 votes.
