The theft of 6 MILLION leks in Korça is revealed, the perpetrators forced

A theft that occurred two years ago in Artur Sejadarasi's apartment in Goskovë, Korça, has been solved.

Korça Police announce that 24-year-old Samuel Tepechik has been arrested by police, while 21-year-old  Andi Snaço  has been given a cell arrest order, as he is currently in Reç prison for another criminal offense.

A 16-year-old boy, the son of the apartment owner, has been placed under investigation, as he is suspected of collaborating with the two perpetrators, who forced him to take 600 thousand lek from his father's safe to give to them.

Korça police announcement:

 The theft that occurred in the apartment of citizen AS, where 600,000 new lek were stolen, an event that occurred on 04.12.2023, in the village of Goskovë, is revealed. As a result of investigative actions carried out in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, after a 2-year investigation, the authorship of the theft in the apartment of citizen AS is documented with legal evidence

1 citizen is arrested, the security measure is executed for the second perpetrator who is currently in the Institution for the Execution of Criminal Decisions (IEVP), with the security measure "Arrest in prison", for another criminal offense, and a 16-year-old is processed at large.

As a result of intensive investigative work, carried out with special methods, by the Crime Investigation specialists of the Korça Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the Prosecution, it became possible to document with legal evidence the theft of the safe in the apartment of citizen AS, in the village of Goskovë, Korça, where it is suspected that an amount of 600,000 new lek was stolen.

Following the investigation, it emerged that these citizens, in collaboration with each other, forced the son of citizen AS to find the key to the safe located in his apartment and to take the amount of money from the safe.

Following the procedural actions, the security measure was executed for citizen A. Ç., 21 years old, resident of Goskovë (arrested for another criminal offense), and citizen ST, 24 years old, resident of Korça, was arrested for the criminal offenses "Theft, with serious consequences, committed in collaboration" and "Inducing minors to commit a crime".

Also, the security measure "Obligation to report to the Judicial Police" was imposed on the 16-year-old (the nephew of the owner of the apartment), suspected of being an accomplice of the perpetrators. The procedural materials were passed on to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
