The burning of the 26-year-old's car in Tirana is solved, the perpetrator is arrested

Tirana Police have solved the burning of a 26-year-old woman's vehicle two days ago on 'Theodhori Bej' Street.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested as the suspected perpetrator of the vehicle fire. The incident is suspected to have occurred for weak motives, due to a previous conflict with a family member.

Through a statement, the Police announced that the materials about the incident were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.

Tirana/The police operation codenamed "Fire Trail" is finalized. The deliberate burning of a vehicle, which occurred two days ago, is revealed.

The 28-year-old man suspected of burning the vehicle of a 26-year-old woman in the early hours of 06.03.2026 on "Theodhori Bej" street, for weak motives, has been identified, arrested and put in handcuffs.

Immediately after the announcement that at around 02:00, on 06.03.2026, on “Theodhori Bej” street, a “Peugeot” vehicle owned by citizen MT, 26 years old, had been burned, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 organized the work to identify and bring to criminal responsibility the perpetrator(s) of the case, as well as to clarify the circumstances.

As a result of rapid investigative and operational actions, carried out within the framework of Operation "Fire Trail", the suspected perpetrator of the case, citizen LH, 28 years old, resident of Tirana, was identified and arrested, who is suspected of having committed this crime, for weak motives, due to a previous conflict with a family member.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
