Tirana Police have initiated criminal proceedings against the leader of the "Albania Becomes" movement, Adriatik Lapaj, and two activists of this political force, who have been protesting in front of the Prime Minister's Office for nearly 3 months.
The police announced in a statement that Lapaj is accused of three criminal offenses, "Land invasion",
“Organization and participation in illegal gatherings and demonstrations” and “Disturbance of public peace”. The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 1: -referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens AL, EH and AB, for the criminal offenses “Land occupation”, “Organization and participation in illegal gatherings and demonstrations” and “Disturbance of public peace”, the announcement states.
