New details have been revealed from today's SPAK operation, where it issued 15 arrest warrants against a criminal group that transported stolen jewelry from France to Albania, and has done this in dozens of documented cases.

Sources inform that the jewels robbed in France, mainly gold, were sold at the jeweler  "Kashara" in Tirana and it is learned that its owner,  Vangjush Kashara , has been put in handcuffs.

It is also known that the jewels were transported by the buses of the travel agency "Erdisa Tours" and its administrator, Agustin Mesuli from the city of Lezha, was arrested  .

Among the arrested persons is Sokol Idrizaj, the former driver of the General Director of the State Police Ardi Veliu, as well as his wife, Elda Idrizaj , as well as one of their daughters.

It is learned that citizens Altin Doda , Florjan Bakri and  Tomor Baruti were also put in handcuffs . Officials of the Border Police in Durrës, Lezhë and Hani i Hoti have also been arrested.

SPAK's investigation began after a letter from the French authorities. As for the accusations raised by SPAK, it is about some criminal offences, specifically; "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", carried out in the special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group, "Exercise of banking activity without a license", carried out in the special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group ., "Smuggling with other goods, carried out in the special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group; "Failure to declare cash and valuables at the border"; "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by criminal organization or organized criminal group".
