The moment when a hostage is taken

A 22-year-old man was taken hostage and raped by three people in Kavaje, after he tricked them into selling a vehicle worth 4,000 euros, which he had rented.

The person who was taken hostage and raped is citizen Xhuljano Diko, 22 years old, while the perpetrators are citizens: Kristi Dilo, 32 years old and Enea Dilo, 34 years old, both residents of Tirana (brothers), as well as citizen Ronaldo Shala, 25 years old, resident in Durrës.

According to the police authorities, Xuljano Diko had rented the vehicle from the two brothers Kristi and Enea Dilo, and tried to sell it to citizen Ronaldo Shala for 4 thousand euros. When they found out, they took a hostage and raped the young man. The police have also published video footage of the hostage-taking.

As part of the coded operation "Pretext", the Blues of Kavaja have arrested the three perpetrators of the hostage-taking, Kristi Dilo, Enea Dilo and Ronaldo Shala, but also the 22-year-old Xhuljano Diko as the suspected author of this fraud case.

In the capacity of material evidence, the blue uniforms seized the vehicle suspected of defrauding citizen Xuljano Diko.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions.
