Today, the Special Court rejected the appeal made by Monika Kryemadhi for seizures that SPAK made on account of several parallel investigations that this prosecutor is conducting for her and for former president Ilir Meta.
According to the Special Prosecutor's Office, several different items were seized from Kryemadhi, but according to unofficial sources, it is learned that it is about some mobile phones and written documents that will help the investigation that is being developed for them.
Thus, it is learned that two mobile phones belonging to two people, her associates, without special status of the deputy, were seized and that Kryemadhi opposed this investigative action.
Other sources confirm that the seized items were taken from Monika Kryemadhi's house, which is in the name of one of her relatives.
In Thursday's session, SPAK was represented by prosecutor Sotir Kllapi, the prosecutor who is investigating the report against Kryemadhi for payments made in the USA for lobbying by the Socialist Movement for Integration in 2017.
It was former democratic deputy Halit Valteri who reported to SPAK in June this year, the couple Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi. The report came after the publication of an article in the Austrian media, where it was claimed that Meta has paid nearly 700 thousand dollars for lobbying in the United States of America.
In May, the Austrian newspaper "Kronen Zeitung" published an article in which it was said that Meta had paid 700 thousand dollars to lobby through a company from Cyprus to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the former American president Donald Trump. Among other things, in this article, questions were raised about other expenses of the Meta-Kryemadhi couple, as well as the various aesthetic surgeries of the former LSI president.
