Agron Tufa, sentenced by the Krujë Court to 30 years in prison for the murder of Kejsi Hysa, has been arrested in Bari, Italy.

Agron Tufa is accused of murdering Casey Hysa in 2018. We recall that Hysa's corpse was hidden near Nikla, while it is suspected that it happened because of cannabis shopping.

The arrest of Tufa came as a result of the cooperation of two policemen, that of the State and the police in Bari.

"Yesterday on 05.01.2024, around 21.00, as a result of the information received from the Directorate for Serious Crimes in the Department of Criminal Police regarding the exact location with coordinates in Bari, Italy, of the internationally wanted person, Agron TUFA , sentenced by the Kruja Court to 30 years in prison for murder.

We cooperated with our Italian colleagues and after the continuous correspondence we had with Interpol Rome and after the information about the exact location, in Bari, it became possible to catch and arrest the citizen Agron Tufa", the police announcement states.

How the event happened in 2018:

The horrific crime rocked the area in July 2018, where Hysa was fatally shot with a single rifle bullet to the head and then buried next to the cannabis plot.

The serious incident was caused by the loss of 50 kg of cannabis. The victim, Kejsi Hysa, who was also known by several other names (Elion Hysa and Piku Hysa), the most prominent of which is "Piku Fajdexhiu", was wanted by the Saranda Police for the murder of Edmond Theodhori, while he lived in Krujë where he gave money with usury. and cultivated the narcotic cannabis sativa.

Even in this area, he also managed a bar called "Nikla" bar, where he was also acquainted with Hysni Rama. The latter helped him to store the narcotics against payments of 100 to 200 euros. But there was a moment when the rift between the two friends was irrevocable and the cause was 50 kg of lost cannabis.

Hysni Rama claimed that the drugs were stolen, while in return, Hysa demanded 15 thousand euros. For this reason, they made a meeting to clarify, where according to the prosecution, they were involved in fierce debates because he had only brought them 1 million old ALL.

In the fight, Hysa put the pistol to his head and took him to the plot, but there, Agron Tufa comes and shoots him in the head. There they agree to bury the victim and then go to play pool, leaving Hysa's car at the scene. Later, in Rama's apartment, they share the stolen euros of "Piku Fajdexhi".

After the murder, the brother of the deceased forced Hysni Rama to get into their car and tell the truth. At this moment, Agron Tufa called the police and Rama was released. Then, the whole incident behind the drug deals was revealed.
