He killed his partner in front of his child, the ALBANIAN is sentenced to life imprisonment in France!

After four days of debate, the Meurthe-et-Moselle Serious Crimes Court sentenced Liridon Berisha , 27, to life imprisonment for the brutal murder of his partner, Stephanie Di Vincenzo , on the night between May 23 and 24, 2021.

The sentence includes a non-parole period of 18 years, following the first-instance verdict that had provided for 22 years without parole.

The victim, only 22 years old, was stabbed in the middle of the street while trying to escape by seeking help from the Hayange police station, just 45 meters from her apartment.

The macabre scene took place in front of the couple's 4-year-old child, while neighbors witnessed the extreme violence.

The attorney general, Nicolas Burkel , described the act as " out of all normality in terms of violence ."

"Neither the presence of witnesses nor that of the girl prevented him from continuing the act. He hit her to weaken her and then inflicted humiliating blows on her body," he said.

Berisha's lawyer, Arnaud Blanc , mentioned his client's background, indicating that he was born during the Kosovo war and had gone through traumatic circumstances, suggesting the impact of trauma on his behavior.
