Gëzim Gjini, 30 years old, ended up in police custody in Lezhë. The young man was wanted by the Italian authorities.

He is accused of having organized the murder of his brother-in-law, his sister's husband, which happened in Italy on December 13 of last year. To commit the crime, he cooperated with 2 other people.

"The 30-year-old was hiding in our country, after the Italian judicial authorities had assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for murder. Citizen G. Gj. is accused of being the organizer of the murder of his sister's husband, citizen PC, murder committed with a cutting tool, in Rocca Priora, Italy, on 13.12.2022, in collaboration with 2 other citizens," the police announced.
