A serious event happened yesterday evening in the village of Gjashte in Saranda, where 65-year-old Gëzim Bizgjoni was killed after being beaten to death by 42-year-old Ferik Beqiri, with whom he lived in the same apartment.

The victim Gëzim Bizgjoni was sent to Tirana to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for expertise.

Witnesses of the event say that the perpetrator hit her in the face with a bottle and then also with fists and circumstantial tools, which caused her immediate death.

The author lived in the victim's house for 1 year together with a woman he lived with. This woman was also a witness in the event and after seeing the scene, she left the house out of fear.

The cause of the conflict was that the victim asked the author to turn down the music, since his 29-year-old daughter died of a serious illness just 20 days ago.
