An Albanian citizen was killed around 21:00 on Sunday evening in the village of Oratoio, on the outskirts of Pisa in Italy.
According to Italian media, on the eve of the feast of the Madonna del Rosario, several gunshots were heard in the village, at least six according to some witnesses.
The victim, identified as Beni Arshiaj, 37 years old, was shot in the eyes of his son, in the backyard of his house.
It seems that after the sound of the shots, some neighbors noticed two people leaving on a scooter. The police arrived at the scene, while the municipal police closed access to the road.
The 37-year-old Albanian had just returned home and parked his van when he was killed.
The vehicle was still moving when the police arrived, entrusted with the investigation coordinated by Deputy Prosecutor Egidio Celano. Five .22 caliber pistol casings were found at the scene, but only one bullet hit the target, a fatal shot to the temple.
