The director of the Kosovo police, Gazmend Hoxha, has given other details regarding the case of the murder of Liridona Ademaj in Pristina on the evening of November 29. In a television appearance, Hoxha said that for the serious incident, there may be other arrests.

He added that some leads are being investigated but they cannot be made public until there is a clear conclusion on the motive of the murder.

"The investigative process continues in several stages. The police in this case proved to be very efficient and professional. In record time, he solved the murder and managed to arrest the persons involved in this case. The motive for this murder remains to be discovered. We are investigating several tracks, but I can't make anything public until we have a clear motive ", said Hoxha in T7.

Furthermore, the head of the Kosovo police said that the institution that he leads is very professional and that it is not enough only with suspicions and clues.

"The Kosovo Police has a high professional level. Investigating police officers also work long hours and have experience in investigation. From the first moments, we had indications that something was wrong. We are not satisfied with clues, we had to provide evidence to arrest someone. The case was reported to have been a robbery. The explanations that were given by Naim Murseli himself and by other people were not convincing for us and we have extracted all the facts and testimonies. The whole process has been examined, the cameras that the houses have in that location, where the murder was committed" , said Hoxha.

In the end, he underlined that the moment of the murder was not seen, as there were no cameras in that area.

For the murder of Liridona Ademaj, her husband Naim Murseli was arrested, who is suspected of organizing the whole crime, offering the sum of 30 thousand euros to Granit Plava, who is accused of being the person who executed the young woman. Meanwhile, there are 2 other people in prison who are accused of being accomplices.

Yesterday, the court extended the detention period by 2 months for the arrested persons.
