In a new development related to the case of the murder of Egli Proga, the head of the Korca Prosecutor's Office has made the decision to remove the prosecutor Vasjana Postoli from the investigation of this case.

This change was made in response to the request of the victim's family, which requested the replacement of Postoli for reasons related to the handling of the case.

Prosecutor Postoli was on duty to investigate the case of Denis Meçes, who is suspected of murdering Egli Proga.

In a previous decision, she had changed the charge against Mece, describing it as "manslaughter".

The decision to remove Postoli comes after the concerns raised by the family of Egli Proga, who had requested a new examination of the case and a stricter treatment of the suspect.

Now, the case of Egli Proga will be handed over to another prosecutor, who will take over the investigations.
