The State Police has announced the search for Martin Pergjini, who is suspected of being the author of the murder that happened the day before in the village of Qafë Qelë in Puka.

According to the police, at 18:00 yesterday afternoon, Pjeter Kola, 44, who was wounded by a gunshot, presented himself for medical help.

He was transported to the Shkodra hospital for specialized medical assistance, but could not survive due to his injuries.

"At around 6:00 p.m., citizen PK, 44 years old, from Lezha, wounded by gunshots, in still unclear circumstances, in the village of Qafë Çelë, Pukë, presented himself for medical help at the Vaut de Deja health center.

This citizen was transported to the Shkodra Regional Hospital, for more specialized medical assistance, who died in the Shkodra hospital.

The investigation team was immediately set up and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Shkodër Judicial District Court, the work continues to clarify the circumstances of the event, identify and capture the author/s", the police statement says.
