"Pedals"

As part of the police operation codenamed "Pedals", 4 people who stole bicycles were handcuffed while their accomplice was declared wanted. Specifically, 20-year-old Mateo Dedaj, 19-year-old Kevin Matraku, 18-year-old Eno Cenollari, and 20-year-old David Luca, the fourth resident of Tirana, were arrested. Also, the 19-year-old with the initials MM, resident in Berat, was declared wanted.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these persons have stolen a bicycle worth 5000 euros on 26.05.2022, in Dibra Street.

During the searches of their apartments, the Police found and seized as material evidence 4 suspected bicycles stolen.

Work continues to document other thefts that may have been committed by these citizens. The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.

The police operation codenamed "Pedals" is finalized, to crack down on criminal activity in the field of theft of property and assets. The operation, conducted by the Police Commissariat no. 4.

4 citizens who stole bicycles are arrested and handcuffed. Their collaborator is declared wanted. During the search of their apartments, 4 suspected stolen bicycles were found and seized.

Services of the Police Commissariat no. 4, following the work to prevent thefts, uncovering those that occurred before and bringing the perpetrators to justice, after a thorough investigation, based on information obtained through police that some citizens stole bicycles in different areas of Tirana, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Pedals".

As a result of this operation, the following citizens were detained:  MD, 20 years old, KM, 19 years old, EC, 18 years old and DL, 20 years old, the fourth resident in Tirana, for the criminal offense "Theft", committed in collaboration.
Also, the citizen MM, 19 years old, resident in Berat, was declared wanted.

These citizens are suspected of collaborating with each other, stealing several bicycles, at different times and places.

From all the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens, on 26.05.2022, in Dibra Street, stole a bicycle worth 5000 euros.

During the searches of the apartments of these citizens, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, 4 suspected bicycles stolen.

Work continues to document other thefts that may have been committed by these citizens. The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
