The water level in the Vjosa River has begun to decrease this morning following the difficult situation created yesterday.

Yesterday, the river overflowed its banks, creating significant problems and difficulties for residents of the area.

Meanwhile, with the decrease in rainfall, the level of flows in the river has decreased, although the damage to the surrounding areas is extensive.

Prime Minister Rama has shared a post on social media announcing that the damage verification process has begun, while structures will be available for any need or emergency.

"The water level in the Vjosa River has dropped significantly. The process of verifying the damages in the entire area has begun, while the relevant structures remain on standby and at the full service of all residents for any need or emergency," Rama writes.
