The Durrës police reacted to the explosion of a car near a gas station on the Tirana-Durres highway.
According to information from the Police, 2 gas station employees were injured by the explosion and were sent to the hospital for treatment.
As the fire department intervened in time and made it possible to extinguish the flames, fortunately without other more serious consequences.
Meanwhile, an investigative group has been set up, the police say, and will investigate the causes of the incident.

Around 14:00, on the Durrës-Tirana highway, at a gas station, a vehicle transporting fuel was engulfed in flames.
As a result, citizens Xh.K., 20 years old, resident of Kamëz, and citizen EP, about 35 years old, (both gas station workers) were injured, who were transported to the hospital for medical assistance.
The timely intervention of the fire services and the Police has isolated the flames, avoiding the involvement of fuel tankers in the fire.
