A teacher of the 9-year-old school "Dritëro Agolli" in Bilisht has been suspended from his job, after being accused of violence by students.

It is about the teacher Alban Fetolli, and the school's discipline and ethics commission has launched an investigation into him after the parents of some eighth-grade students complained to the school directorate about the violence inflicted on them by the teacher.

The decision to suspend him from work was taken by DAR. One of the abused students claimed to the media that the teacher hit them with a water can a few days ago while they were teaching. He added that 4 other students were also raped, among them a girl. 


Earlier in a telephone communication, the director of DAR, Vinjola Rota, said that the event is being evaluated both by the school's ethics commission and also by the regional education directorate.

"Immediately after the event, an ethical commission and a psycho-social questionnaire were set up. In these moments when measures are being taken, the teacher is not teaching because he is in the ethics committee. Until the decision of the ethics commission is issued, no other measures can be taken, such as suspension," said Rota.
