Activist Elena Bogëjani says that the video of violence against an elderly woman in a nursing home in Peja is revenge against the nurse and is not intended to denounce violence.

The activist stated that the way the video came out, given to an actress who was known to publish it, shows that it is something personal between the asylum workers.

" The publication of violence comes to us by being sent to an actress. It has been calculated that they knew she was going to publish it. It seems to be a revenge against this nurse.

That's why I think that the one who sent the video, who tries to play the role of the savior, is taking revenge. It's personal to Aurona, it's not about saving the elderly and exposing violence ," said the activist.

Aurona Pelaj is the caregiver who appears in the serious video that demonstrates the violence against the elderly woman in the nursing home in Peja. She is the girl who is clearly seen in the video beating the old woman and taunting her. While her colleagues film her and laugh.

The identities of the latter have not yet been clarified. Pelaj was put in handcuffs together with another person, while the other two employees at the nursing home in Peja were put under investigation.
