Details from the arrest by order of the Special Court of Safet Bajri, otherwise known as the " strongman of Shkodra ".
An arrest warrant has been issued against Bajri, while one of the events for which he is accused is the murder of Fatbardh Lici in 2018 in Shkodra.
It is suspected that Safet Bajri and Asmer Bilali, in collaboration with Behar Bajri, committed the murder of Fatbardh Lici.
But who was Fatbardh Lici and how was he executed?
Fatbardh Lici was killed by a hail of bullets on August 10, 2018, while he was in a cafe in Shkodra.
The incident occurred at around 7:30 in the morning on the outskirts of the city, in the "Kiras" neighborhood.
The victim, 53 years old, was drinking coffee in the company of two other people when a person got out of a "Benz" type vehicle, without license plates, and fired a volley of automatic weapons at him, leaving him dead on the spot.
Fatbardh Lici was Lulëzim Kulla's brother-in-law, the latter of whom survived the TNT attack on January 13, 2018.
Suspicions were further reinforced that a war had begun between the Bajri and Lici families.
Although investigators were careful not to draw false conclusions, the Bajri tribe was blamed for these criminal events, writes tch .
Meanwhile, the testimonies of Lici's relatives did not help support the investigators' suspicions that the attack was coming from Bajrat.
Fatbardh Lici was registered with the State Police on suspicion of an ambush murder, in 2011, of Astrit Kurmemaj, who was also convicted of murder.
But this plan collapsed after Kurmemaj's family members were seen at Lici's funeral.
The murder of Fatbardh Lici was investigated as part of a chain of murders that occurred in Shkodra during these months of 2018.
All the police could do was follow the trail and study the crimes in the chain to build leads to the truth that was never found.
Members of the Bajri family had been under surveillance for at least six months.
They were even being monitored by drones in their neighborhood.
But evidence implicating Bajra in the crimes with the Licës was lacking.
Even though the police kept people considered dangerous under surveillance, other incidents would continue to occur.
