" Bedër " University College is expected to close its activities, according to sources close to the institution.

The university will not open admissions for new students in the 2026–2027 academic year.

Meanwhile, current students will continue their studies according to a transition plan until their completion.

It is learned that students who have completed their studies will continue their graduation procedures normally, while those who are still in the study process have been transferred or are being transferred to other higher education institutions, writes vna.

To date, the reasons for this decision have not been made public. Likewise, the leaders of the "Bedër" University College have not yet issued an official announcement regarding the cessation of activity.

Meanwhile, the university's official website remains active, but so far there has been no announcement. There are no announcements on the institution's official website regarding the opening of applications or the admission of new students for the 2026–2027 academic year, while an official response is expected in the future. 

"Bedër" University College was founded in 2011 by the Muslim Community of Albania and functions as a non-public, non-profit institution of higher education.
