Daniel Braçi, the 26-year-old who tried to break through the police blockade in Fier and fought with a policeman who wounded him with a weapon, has a previous criminal record.

On August 31, 2019, the young man, after a conflict between two families from Zhapaj and Braçi, from which four people were injured with hard objects and knives, took the service weapon of one of the police officers who was helping the injured to enter in an emergency, and injured one of the other party's family members with this weapon. The collision at that time took place inside the Fier hospital.

The conflict between the two parties started in the afternoon of August 31 in a bar in Levan, Fier. As a result of the conflict, 5 people are injured from both sides. The fight that started in the bar with hard objects and knives, ended in an even bloodier scene in the Fier Hospital Emergency Room, where the injured with hard objects from the fight were transported to the bar.

The police informed that Daniel Braçi, then 21 years old, who was accompanying two of his injured relatives (Erlind Muçaj and Klajdi Lamaj) to the hospital, took the gun from the belt of a police officer, and shot at one of his family members. the other party, Aleksandër Zhapa, leaving him injured. Zhapa, on the other hand, was in the hospital to accompany his two sons, Gentian and Aldi Zhapa, who were injured with sharp objects in the bar in Levan.

Gentjan Zhapa, Aldi Zhapa, Erlind Muçaj and Klajdi Lamaj were injured in the conflict with strong tools and knives. The police arrested the two brothers Daniel and Gazment Braçi for the incident in Fier, while on the other hand Emiglent Kararaj, Aldo Zhapaj and Aleksandër Zhapaj involved in the conflict in Levan were arrested.
