At noon this Sunday, journalist Adriatik Doçi was raped near his apartment in Kamze.

A still unidentified person punched him, according to the police, while the journalist claims that he was also hit with hard objects.

Journalist Doçi himself states that he suspects that the attack was carried out because of his duty, while he is sure that the person who attacked him is from the segments of corruption and organized crime.

Doçi says that this attack gives him even more courage to report and no one stops him in his work and in the journalist's mission.

"Around noon, while returning to the apartment, unidentified persons suddenly hit me from behind. I could not identify myself and I had no communication whatsoever, they just raped me in a surprising and insidious way from behind. I was not in my right mind because I did not think that they would shoot me. I had threats but no concrete physical violence. This was the first episode of physical violence.

On Pashko Vaso street, entering the apartment after drinking the coffee, I was alone and was returning to the apartment. The attack was executed by one person, but I believe there were other people for support.

They attached themselves to this person because they thought that I would attack them too. The person I think is paid by segments of corruption and organized crime a paid mercenary was about 25 years old. They were masked with hoods. I had a hard time making out the face. It was a surprise attack from behind.

Strong suspicions are that the hit is due to duty, as I have no conflict with any person. It is only about reported facts and a paid attack by certain segments.

I wanted to give a message, this attack gives me the courage to report and nothing stops me. I will not leave Albania and I will report until my last breath. He is currently filing a report at police station No. 5. The police are very cooperative, to find the perpetrators of this attack," said Doçi for Report TV.
