A 65-year-old man was arrested in Durrës, after he attempted to have sexual intercourse with a 50-year-old woman from Durrës and immediately left to escape the Police.

In his apartment in Ishem, the police also found 2 kilograms of suspected narcotic cannabis in the process of drying, and destroyed 28 suspected narcotic cannabis plants cultivated in the yard.

During the search in the apartment of the arrested, the Police found and seized 2 kg of cannabis in the drying process and destroyed 28 cannabis plants cultivated in the yard of this apartment.

The services of Manzë Police Station, immediately after receiving the notification that a citizen had tried to have sexual intercourse with violence with a 50-year-old woman and that he had cultivated narcotic plants on the land owned by him, in the village of Išem, have organized the work for his capture.

As a result of the coded police operation "Perëndimi", citizen M. Sh., 65 years old, resident of Ishem, Durrës, was arrested in the act.

This citizen, after having attempted to have sexual intercourse with a citizen, had left immediately to escape the Police, but after checking the area, it was possible to capture and arrest him.

Police services, during the control exercised in the apartment of the 65-year-old, have found and seized as material evidence, 2 kilograms of suspected narcotic cannabis in the process of drying, as well as destroyed 28 suspected narcotic cannabis plants cultivated in the yard the residence of this citizen.

The materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of the Durrës Judicial District, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Sexual relations with violence with adults", remaining pending, "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Cultivation of narcotic plants".
