An Albanian citizen was caught by the Italian police while transporting a large amount of cocaine-type narcotic substance in his car.

The Albanian, whose identity is not disclosed by the police for investigative reasons, was stopped by the Foggia police during a routine check against illegal traffic and wanted persons.

At the moment when the patrol stopped the Albanian, he appeared nervous and began to give contradictory answers to the officers.

For this reason, he had his car thoroughly checked by the anti-drug dog, who discovered the place where the cocaine was hidden, under the spare tire.

After the verifications, it turned out that the Albanian, who turned out to be a courier for the police, was transporting 20 kg of pure cocaine, which, if it were to come to the market, would capture a value of several million euros.

Meanwhile, the police have started investigations to identify other persons involved in this illegal activity.
