The increased checks on all road axes continue, for the identification and punishment of violators of traffic rules who are a potential risk for involvement in road events, as well as for the increase of road safety parameters in the capital.

▫️During the week that we left behind, 19 citizens were arrested and prosecuted for driving while drunk or without a driving license.

▫️34 driving licenses have been suspended, for driving under the influence of alcohol, for speeding beyond the permitted rates and for other violations of the Traffic Code.

▫️ 461 drivers were punished with administrative measures for using mobile phones while driving.

▫️393 drivers were punished for not giving priority to pedestrians, on white lines.

▫️378 drivers were punished for not wearing seat belts.

▫️ 208 administrative measures have been imposed for non-use of protective helmets and non-use of phosphorescent vests by motor vehicle drivers.

▫️Also, special attention during this week has been paid to the non-respect of the "Stop" sign and 58 administrative measures have been imposed for this violation.
