The Secretary General of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, said that former socialist mayor Edison Memolla ended up in prison for a statement made on the phone.
Klosi emphasized that the Memolla case is the most meaningful example that Justice Reform is untouchable by the Socialist Party.
"The recent case of Rrogozhina shows all this thread of logic that I said. A mayor in office, on the phone, says an expression that has nothing to do with corruption, but about the work of the lights, 'but now you found it?' - he says to him, 'because we are in elections'. This is what he is being judged for," Klosi told A2.
"Politics did not intervene for an elected leader of the Socialist Party to say don't judge this, don't condemn that, or keep him in the job."
For an expression on the phone that 'did you find the watch now?' he is in prison today, and it is the most meaningful example of this that we say that the Justice Reform is untouchable by the Socialist Party. We are the only guarantors of protection”, continued the Socialist General Secretary.
