Police officers attacked with weapons in Morina, record sentences for 7 traffickers

The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, GJKKO, has made the decision and sentenced the 7 traffickers who in 2023 attacked border police officers in Morina with weapons.

It concerns five Syrian citizens and two Algerians accused of organizing the trafficking of immigrants from Greece to European Union countries, as well as the attempted murder of five police officers, who were opened fire on while on duty, an event that occurred on May 25, 2023, at the 'Morinë' border crossing, Kukës.  

Sultan Grimash alias Sadaak Guremache alias Junes Alma – sentenced to 35 years in prison

Ayoub Bahhoo – sentenced to 35 years in prison.

Muhammed Radën alias Muhamed Radouë alias Radvan Radvan – sentenced to 35 years in prison

Rabi Lqadi alias Rabi El-Qadi – sentenced to 8 years in prison.

Muhammed Shehab alias Mohamed Al Uthman Shaab alias Mohamed Outman – sentenced to 35 years in prison

Muhammed Nasir alias Nouh Graie – sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Nagid Alabdalah alias Abu Gira – sentenced to 8 years in prison
