Heavy rains in Tirana

Several cities of the country have been engulfed by heavy rains.

Heavy traffic has been created in some areas, including the capital, as cars move with difficulty due to the heavy rain.

From noon and until the evening, rainfall is expected to be of medium and high intensity in the form of downpours and storms accompanied by strong electrical discharges.

In the late evening hours, according to the Military Meteorological Service , in most parts of the country, the intensity of precipitation decreases, remaining occasionally present with low to moderate intensity.

While in the southeast, mainly in the afternoon and evening, rainfall is expected to be of high intensity in the form of downpours and storms accompanied by electrical discharges
