SPAK has seized another property that is suspected of being built through the dirty money of the criminal organization of the Çopja brothers, led by Hajdar and Franc Çopja.

This time, the seizure was placed on a restaurant (agrotourism) called Solis Farm, in the village of Mumajes in Baldushk, Tirana.

SPAK also says that the prosecutor proceeded with the detention of citizen Petrit Lakatos, who is the administrator of this business. During the search of his apartment, a sum of money, a Rolex watch and three stones that are initially thought to be diamonds were found.

Solis Farm turns out to be a major investment, with a restaurant, hotel, guesthouses, and land surrounding the activity.

Previously, Çopjave had $10 million in cryptocurrencies seized, as well as 42 properties and 1 million euros in cash.

SPAK announcement:

The Special Prosecution Office, through announcements published on 01.08.2024 and 21.01.2025, informed about the criminal proceedings of a criminal organization, which was based in the city of Elbasan and was led by the brothers FG (alias F. Ç.) and HB (alias H. Ç.) as well as the seizure of movable and immovable assets, which are suspected to be the product of the criminal offense.

The Special Prosecution Office has continued to conduct investigations aimed at identifying and seizing movable and immovable assets, which are suspected of having criminal origins. After conducting numerous investigative actions, it has become possible to identify an immovable asset whose value is considerable.

On 18.02.2025, pursuant to decision no. 115, dated 12.02.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, a ''preventive seizure'' was imposed on the economic operator "S….. FARM" (with activity in the field of agrotourism, accommodation services in hotel structures, guesthouses, holiday homes, villas, bar-restaurant-cafe service, etc.), as well as for the building and land, on the surface of which this economic operator carries out its activity, specifically, the real estate in Mumajes, Baldushk, Tirana.

Seized assets:

Immovable property in Mumajes, Baldushk, (part of the EO “S. FARM”);
Restaurant service building; the first floor consists of a kitchen, restaurant, restaurant environment, veranda, etc. and the second floor consists of two rooms, living room, etc.
Courtyard (space around the building) in which there are service tables and chairs, a children's playground, an environment where various birds are kept;
Service room outside the restaurant;
Items and furniture, located in the restaurant.
On the same date, (18.02.2025), at 18:45, the prosecutor proceeded with the detention of citizen PL, in the capacity of administrator of the economic operator “S. FARM", as a person suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Laundering of proceeds of crime or criminal activity", committed in special cooperation, in the form of a criminal organization, "Criminal organization" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group", provided for by articles 287 - 28/1, 333, 334 of the Criminal Code.

During the personal search carried out on citizen PL, the following were found and seized as material evidence:

Monetary amount in euro currency 2940 (two thousand nine hundred and forty)

Monetary amount in Albanian Lek (ALL), totaling 203,000.00 (two hundred and three thousand)

Wristwatch, Rolex brand

1 (one) gold pendant, with a plate that appears to be made of gold, behind which the date 29.09.2022 is engraved, while on the front there are 3 (three) precious stones, apparently diamonds;

4 (four) telephones;

etc.

*Clarification: Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a final decision.
