The Special Court has communicated the " prison arrest " measure to Izmir Sakica and Samuel Troshani , who are suspected of being involved in the incident of August 23 last year in Rranxë i Bushati in Shkodra .

According to SPAK, Sakica and Troshani, in collaboration with Franko Leka, who is still wanted, as well as several people, organized an armed attack against Aleksandër Prendi and his family.

When the armed suspects approached the Prendi family's apartment in armored vehicles, they fell victim to an assassination attempt, which SPAK says was prepared by Aleksandër Prendi himself.

From the evidence obtained at the scene, it appears that there was an exchange of gunfire, with no damage to the health of the people involved, but only to the vehicles.

One of the vehicles in which the persons under investigation were traveling was damaged as a result of the shooting at the scene.

It turned out to be unregistered, with unknown ownership and with foreign license plates, which do not correspond to the same vehicle.

The cause is suspected to have been a conflict over the disruption of a drug deal.

Sakica and Troshani were also being held in prison for another incident, that of raping a citizen in Shkodra.

For this incident, they surrendered to the police, where they also handed over the firearms that are suspected to be noisemakers.
